Hello, my name is Itzel Macias Ibarra, and I am a graduate of the University of North Texas. I am majored in journalism with a concentration in public relations and minored in merchandising. I love fashion, sushi and meeting new people. One of the reasons public relations drew my attention was because its versatility has given me peace of mind knowing I'm going into a field with many diverse opportunities. During my time at UNT, I interned at AGENZ PR, a Diverse, Digital and Data-Driven Public Relations Agency, where I expanded my PR skills. I wrote blogs for the AGENZ PR website, researched social media trends and created social media content for UNT at Frisco. In class, I worked on PR plans for local organizations, dove into crisis communication scenarios and strengthened my writing skills through class projects.
